Step1: Please install 4pcs AA batteries.(You could also charge the trail camera with provided usb cable for 8 hours.)
Step2: Please put a micro sd card.
Step3: Switch to “SETUP” mode, press menu to enter setup system.
Step4: Find "Format" and format the micro sd card.
Step5: Set time and date. Do some other settings accroring to your need.
Step6: Switch to "ON" and start recording.

Answer: The image of the trail camera is jpg, and video is mp4.
Question:Can I connect the trail camera to smartphone?
Answer: The trail camera cann't be connected on the smartphone. It is NOT a wifi one. If you receive a general user manul, please skip the wifi function part which is ONLY for trail cameras with wifi.
Question:Does the trail camera still need battery?
Answer: The trail camera will also work without AA battery, because there is built-in 4400mah battery to power the trail camera.
You could use AA battery as backup. When the built-in battery is in low power, the trail camera will use the power of AA battery.
Question:Can you turn the video settings off and only do pictures? And when the SD card is full does it overwrite the oldest files?
Answer: Yes, you could choose photo mode, then the trail camera will only record photo but no video.
The memory card will overwrite the oldest files. The trail camera has loop recording.
Please note that the trail camera only supports MIRCO SD card.
