Answer: No. The WiFi of the trail camera has a distance limit. The WiFi connection is by default off. You would need to be close to the camera and connect to the camera using Bluetooth first then through Bluetooth to turn on WiFi. Also, the mobile App needs to be within the WiFi range from the camera in order to view photos on the camera.

Answer: Yes, the trail camera needs to insert the SD card then can take pictures and videos. After you use APP(Game Camera Pro), you can preview/download pictures & videos on APP directly, don’t need to take off the camera, when you want to set up the camera, just set it through your phone.
